Terms of Service - Trent's Tuning LLC

By using Trent’s Tuning LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) services, you (“Customer,” “you”) agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you disagree, do not use our services.

1. Scope of Services
We provide custom automotive tuning, ECU calibration, diagnostics, and performance services exclusively for competition/off-road use.

2. Competition Use Only & Emissions
All tunes are for off-road and sanctioned closed‑circuit competition only. Use on public roads is strictly prohibited and may violate federal, state, and local laws. We will not modify or disable emissions systems. You bear full responsibility for complying with emissions and environmental regulations.

3. Risk, Liability & Warranty
Performance tuning can stress vehicle systems. You assume all risks including mechanical failures, voided warranties, emissions violations, injuries, legal fines, or death. Trent’s Tuning LLC is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from any work performed.

4. No Refunds
All services are non-refundable once a calibration file has been delivered, due to their digital and custom nature.

5. Tune Delivery & Revisions
Typical turnaround is 24–72 hours depending on workload and complexity. Accurate vehicle info is required to avoid delays.

6. Intellectual Property & Restrictions
All tuning files and calibration software are the intellectual property of Trent’s Tuning LLC. You may not resell, distribute, or reverse engineer them without written consent.

7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trent’s Tuning LLC, its officers, employees, agents, dealers, and distributors from any and all losses, damages, claims, or legal expenses arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or modifications to your vehicle.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate state or federal courts within that state.

9. Severability
If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.

10. Updates & Changes
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

By requesting a custom tune, you understand, acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

Modification tunes for purposes other than solely for competition is a violation of federal law and may violate applicable state or local environmental, motor vehicle and other laws. You shall warrant that any tunes provided/requested, shall only be used in sanctioned closed-circuit events. That use of this custom tune may violate warranties from the manufacturer of the Vehicle or from others. That the installation of, improper installation of, or use of this TUNE with other components or failure to use this TUNE in conjunction with other components, could result in or cause personal injury, property damage or death.

THIS TUNE REQUESTED/PROVIDED IS FOR COMPETITION USE ONLY. ALL OTHER USES ARE CONTRARY TO FEDERAL LAW. IF YOU INTEND TO USE THIS PRODUCT FOR HIGHWAY OR NON-COMPETITION OFF-ROAD PURPOSES, DO NOT PURCHASE OR INSTALL THIS PRODUCT.

Emissions Notice:
Federal and several state and provincial laws prohibit the removal, modification or rendering inoperative of any part that affects emissions or safety on motor vehicles used on public streets or highways. Trent's Tuning LLC. assumes no liability for any violations arising out of any federal, state or provincial emissions or safety requirements on motor vehicles arising out of the customer's modifications and/or use of our products or services. It is the responsibility of the customer to determine if their modified vehicle complies with applicable laws.

California Residents:
The emissions laws and regulations of the state of California apply to all non-racing vehicles. Consequently, some parts in this product may legally be used in California only on a racing vehicle which will never be operated on public roads.
The User accepting this disclaimer acknowledges and hereby indemnifies and saves Trent's Tuning LLC., its officers, employees, agents, distributors and dealers for any damages, penalties, fines, expenses or other costs which may arise from the use of this Product and without limiting the generality of the foregoing specifically acknowledges all responsibility.
